Our Story

Splurge Salon is owned and operated by Lori Heikkinen, a former licensed real estate professional with a business background in corporate sales and marketing, human resources, and operations management. Lori and her husband Bruce, a local homebuilder, opened Splurge in February 2008.

Lori's relationship with her long-time colorist, Danna, led them to put a business model together as they shared the same vision: to build the hair salon they both had been in search of:....a professional, fashion-forward, environment that operated in consistent, technically advanced manner focused on client care and employee education and development.

Today, Splurge is enjoying strong brand recognition and rapid growth by operating with the business philosophy-"there is no substitution for preparation."  The staff of Splurge Salon works dilligently and strategically everyday to ensure their clients' experiences are what they expect and deserve.
